About…
Jeriann’s granddaughter, Sophia, likes to make art too!
Born and raised in Southeastern Wisconsin, Jeriann Dosemagen is a retired business executive who now creates beautiful artwork.
Throughout childhood, Jeriann was passionate about art and had dreams of pursuing it as a career. However, as life would have it she ended up putting her early dreams on hold for a more ‘sensible’ career in business.
Despite thriving in numerous leadership roles, Jeriann’s inner desire to someday focus on art was always in the back of her mind. As a result, she carefully planned an early exit strategy from Corporate America so she could get back to her original passion. Once retired, Jeriann relocated to Mesa, Arizona and completed a comprehensive art program where she learned the painting techniques of the old masters. She’s been creating and selling her artwork globally ever since.
Inspired by nature, Jeriann focuses on the unique application of color and lighting in her art, transporting her collectors into a realm of beauty, tranquility and contemplation. Her paintings are intended to “draw people in to a place where they can pause, take a deep breath, unwind and recharge”. Specializing primarily in oils, Jeriann also likes to experiment with acrylics and a variety of other mixed media. In particular, she loves the look and feel of thick, vivid, layered brushstrokes and dots (contemporary pointillism) which she applies to everything from landscapes to portraits. Her detailed charcoal and graphite pieces are also very popular among collectors.
Working from her home studio, Jeriann feels that fresh air, natural light and a carefully curated playlist are key essentials to inspire creativity. Aside from her artwork, Jeriann is an avid ‘diner-outer’ who also enjoys yoga and putzing around on her guitar. She and her significant other, Paul Garcia, also like to e-bike, kayak and travel… spending time with family and friends.

“I like to set the bar high and work hard to make my dreams a reality. Because being wired like this can sometimes lead to stress, I know that finding healthy ways to decompress is important.”
”Creating art helps me relax and escape. I intentionally choose subject matter, compositions and color palettes that are meant to help my collectors do the same.”
