Every time I look at this painting I can’t help but think of the Beatles album cover, Abbey Road. The angle of the shadows reminds me so much of the striped walkway. The title might seem odd, and I tried to come up with something more ‘appropriate’, but I think George, Paul, Ringo and John would approve. It was a pleasure to paint, and it’s a stunning piece to gaze at whenever you find yourself in need of a happy little daydream!
