We really enjoy kayaking since we’ve moved to Arizona. It’s a perfect way to get some fresh air and exercise while watching for interesting wildlife. But the best part for me is to just float, allowing the gentle waves to guide my balance… to watch how the sun glistens on the water and witness the how all the beautiful colors in the sky change by the second as the sun sets. I tried to capture this relaxing feeling when I painted Salt River Sunset, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
